Terms and Conditions.

You must be 21 years of age or older to browse or purchase from Codex Research. By using this site, you confirm that you meet this requirement, that you have the authority to enter into a binding agreement, and that you are purchasing for legitimate research purposes only.

All products sold by Codex Research are intended strictly for laboratory and research use. They are not for human consumption and are not intended for medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, cosmetic, or veterinary use. By purchasing, you agree to handle all materials in accordance with applicable laws and standard laboratory safety practices, and you accept full responsibility for their proper handling, storage, and use.

Orders are processed once payment has cleared. We ship with insulated packaging and cold-chain materials where required. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address; we are not liable for losses resulting from incorrect details, refused deliveries, or carrier delays outside our control.

Due to the nature of these materials, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns of opened or temperature-sensitive products. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible after delivery with your order number and photos, and we will make it right with a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Products are provided “as is” for research purposes. You are solely responsible for ensuring your purchase and use comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codex Research is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, handling, or use of any product. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey. We may update these terms from time to time; changes take effect when posted to this page.

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us straight away if you believe someone else has accessed it. We may suspend or close any account we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these terms.

You agree not to misuse this site. That includes attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping or automated data collection, interfering with site security or availability, and using the site to resell or redistribute products in breach of applicable law. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

All content on this site, including text, product data, images, branding and page design, is owned by or licensed to Codex Research and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

This site may link to third-party websites, certificates or reference material that we do not control. Those links are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any third-party site, and a link does not imply endorsement.

Except where prohibited by law, all products and site content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Codex Research, its officers, employees and suppliers against any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of our products, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

We would rather sort things out directly, so please contact us first. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Claims must be brought individually and not as part of a class action.

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, carrier disruption, labour shortages, supply-chain failure, utility or network outages, or governmental action.

We may require proof of age or institutional affiliation before releasing an order. Orders ship within the USA only. Orders placed before 6 PM ET, Monday through Saturday, are dispatched the same day; orders placed after that cutoff, or at any time on a Sunday, are dispatched the next shipping day. Dispatch timing is a target, not a guarantee, and carrier transit times are outside our control. You are responsible for ensuring that possession and use of any product complies with the laws of your state and locality, and you may not export or re-ship products abroad.

Information you provide is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We collect only what we need to process and ship your order and to meet our record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information. Payment details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored on our servers.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version that applies to your order, and changes take effect as soon as they are posted. Please review this page before each purchase; continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed and the remaining terms will stay in full effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any order confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and Codex Research.

Please include your order number so we can help you quickly.

All prices shown on this site, and all charges made to your payment method, are in United States Dollars (USD). Prices are exclusive of any taxes or duties that may apply to your order. We take care to price accurately, but if a product is listed at an incorrect price we may cancel or decline the affected order and refund you in full before it ships. Promotional pricing, member discounts and bundle pricing apply only as shown at checkout.

Payment is taken in full when you place your order, and the order is processed once payment has cleared. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, and those methods may change from time to time. Card payments are handled by our payment provider using an encrypted, tokenised connection; we never receive or store your full card number. If a payment is declined, or is later reversed by your bank, we may cancel or hold the order. Where card payment is offered, charges appear on your statement under the billing descriptor shown to you at checkout. Cryptocurrency payments are processed through our own BTCPay Server node; once a Bitcoin payment is confirmed on the network it cannot be reversed by us, by you or by your wallet provider, and any refund on such an order is handled under our Refund Policy. If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before contacting your bank, as we can usually identify the order straight away.

Membership plans are sold for a fixed term, monthly or yearly, as shown on the plan you select. The price, the billing period and the date of any renewal are displayed before you confirm your order, and we will never charge you an amount you have not been shown. You may cancel a membership at any time from the Membership tab in your account, and cancelling takes no more steps than joining did. Cancellation stops any future billing; it does not refund a term already paid for, and your benefits run to the end of the period you have paid for. Membership benefits are discounts and access rather than products, and are not refundable once a term has begun.

If something is wrong with your order, contact us first at info@codexresearch.shop with your order number. We aim to respond within one business day, and we would far rather put a problem right directly than through your bank. Filing a chargeback before contacting us delays resolution for everyone. Where a dispute is filed on an order that was delivered as described, we will provide our records to the card issuer, including order details, delivery confirmation and correspondence, and we reserve the right to decline future orders from accounts that file fraudulent disputes.

Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no statement made here has been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, and nothing we publish is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. Product names, molecular data and certificates of analysis are provided as technical reference for qualified researchers. Any dosage, protocol or outcome information you may encounter elsewhere is not endorsed by us and forms no part of what we offer.
